Hser Ku Htoo

My name is Hser Ku Htoo and I was born in Burma. My hometown was nice and I liked it. My house was made out of bamboo and the roof were leaves. I have four siblings and I am the oldest and I got along with them really well. My parents were farmers. I worked watching cows and taking care of them. My mom was the one who taught me how to cook. When we went shopping for food we had to walk and it would take us about an hour. I went to school and when I was little I wanted to be a teacher. At a young age we would play games. My parents taught us to love each others as siblings but never said anything about relationships. I have four kids, and I taught them to be a good children. I do celebrate Karen New Year and my religion is Buddhism. The reason I came to America was because I had a hard life in Mae La Camp.
